hey there. it’s been a while since i’ve randomly given stuff away, and that doesn’t jive well with my philosophy that love and / or readership should be shamelessly bought. so in honor of the holiday season - and to make up for lost time / clear my shelf of some extra stuff i’ve got lying around - i thought i’d throw the biggest Criterion Corner giveaway yet. 

The Prize:

- DVD of Sidney Lumet’s 12 ANGRY MEN! 

- Blu-ray of Claude Chabrol’s LES COUSINS!

- 1 DVD box set of Krzysztof Kieslowski’s THREE COLORS! (opened but never watched and in mint condition… long story)

- 1 MYSTERY DVD!!!! (maybe a Criterion film, maybe just something I want to share with a stranger. definitely previously loved).

Where the hell have I been? Mixing the JJAMZ record, preparing my solo record, playing shows with the Chances, posting photos on Chronic Appeal, and doing everything in my power to maintain my bachelorhood. I know there hasn’t been much new stuff, but 6 months from now you’re going to be so sick of me and the barrage of material that will be released you’ll long for the days when I released a 3 year old acoustic song every couple of months. Thought it best if I warn you…

My friend made a really great short film, The Ghosts, which is premiering in LA at Mandrake (2692 South La Cienega Boulevard) on March 14th, 7pm. My band The Chances will also be performing. You should attend. Free admission. Hard to argue.
