22 November 2010 - FREE DOWNLOAD… “PLEASE STAY”

I really like giving away songs. Here’s another one about death. I wrote it a couple years ago, and now you can finally hear it. And own it. Enjoy. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD.

5 November 2010 - The Chances

I have a new band. We’re called “The Chances.” It consists of myself and two wonderful ladies, Julia and Sara. Every Monday in December we will be performing at The Silverlake Lounge, right here in Los Angeles. These will also qualify as our first shows in the band’s brief history, so we’re reasonably excited. You should be in attendance, unless you’re grounded or can’t find a sitter. To hear what we sound like when we sing an acapella medley, visit our myspace page. Let us know what you think… Please note, we are not an acapella group. We’ll leave that to the barbershop quartets.

Here’s a version of “Suicide Pact” Greta Morgan and I sang at our show in Santa Cruz last week. Enjoy!

28 October 2010 - FREE DOWNLOAD! “THEY DON’T KNOW” feat. GRETA MORGAN of GOLD MOTEL

Here’s an acoustic cover of Kirsty MacColl’s “They Don’t Know.” That’s my friend Greta of Gold Motel on the chorus. Enjoy! And if you haven’t already, sign up to the mailing list and get a free download of “The Way It Goes,” an acoustic song that doesn’t feature Greta, for some reason… Download “They Don’t Know”

27 October 2010 - Santa Cruz! Gold Motel! Tomorrow Night!

Playing at The Crepe Place with Gold Motel tomorrow night. After the show we’re going to go hang from “The Lost Boys” bridge. Free entry to anyone that brings me rice and convinces me they’re maggots. Or convinces me to drink their blood. See you tomorrow!

27 October 2010 - YOU ARE RELEASED OUTRIGHT AND UNCONDITIONALLY

The World Series starts today (Go Giants), so I thought I’d post my grandfather’s dismissal from the “Elizabethton (or Elizabethtown. Hard to read) Cubs,” a minor league baseball team. 1945! The internet wasn’t even born yet. I’m very happy to have this in my possession. You have no idea.
